Workshop
Department of Civil Engineering
3D CRETE
This class introduces participants to 3D Concrete Printing, an emerging construction technology that enables concrete structures to be produced layer by layer directly from digital designs. The session will explain the basic working principle, digital modelling, printable concrete requirements, extrusion and nozzle systems, layer deposition and construction applications. It will also discuss the major advantages, challenges and future potential of 3D concrete printing in areas such as automated construction, sustainable building and complex architectural structures
