BuildX
BUILDX is a 4-hour hands-on IoT buildathon where innovation meets embedded technology. Using the ESP32 as the core controller, participants will design, build, and program a working prototype that solves a real-world problem.
Each team will receive an identical hardware kit containing sensors, actuators, and essential electronic components. Once the challenge is revealed at the start of the event, teams must develop a complete IoT solution within the allotted time, showcasing creativity, technical skills, circuit design, embedded programming, and automation.
Rules & Regulations:
- The ESP32 must be the primary controller used in the prototype. 2.Participants may bring their own ESP32 board and laptop, or use those provided by the organizers (subject to availability). 3.All teams will receive the same official component kit. 4.Only components provided in the kit may be used in the final prototype. 5.The problem statement will be announced only at the beginning of the event. 6.Internet resources, documentation, libraries, and AI-assisted tools are permitted during the competition. 7.Pre-built circuits, pre-written project solutions, or previously developed prototypes are not allowed. 8.The prototype must include sensing, processing/decision-making, and an output, automation, or real-time/remote feedback mechanism. 9.Teams must follow all laboratory safety guidelines throughout the event, High-voltage or mains-powered connections are strictly prohibited. 10.Maximum team size is 3.
- All participants must carry their college ID cards.
