Workshop on ' Solar PV: From Sunlight to Power'
'Solar PV: From Sunlight to Power' is a technical workshop designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) technology, from solar energy conversion and system components to installation, operation, maintenance, safety, and grid integration. Through expert-led sessions, technical videos, demonstrations, and interactive discussions, participants will explore PV panels, inverters, protection systems, mounting practices, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and grid-connected solar systems.
Subject to feasibility, the workshop may also include a solar power plant visit, offering practical exposure to PV arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection and monitoring systems, and the flow of power from solar generation to the grid. The workshop aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world industry applications while introducing participants to emerging solar technologies and career opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

- The workshop is open to registered participants only.
- Participants must report to the venue at the specified time and complete the registration/check-in process.
- Participants must carry their valid college ID card.
- Registration fee is ₹150 per participant.
